  4. The Stockbyte<TM> team of photographers, art directors, editors, scanning

  13. This CD has over 5000 images, and comes with a customised image browser
  14. which allows you to search  for images by keywords.

  18. WhatÆs on your comping CD?
  19. Stockbyte<TM> CDs are cross platform (Macintosh & Windows). This disc includes
  20. over 5000  low-resolution images at 72 dpi which have been security marked, but
  21. are usable for dummies and presentations. Also included is five high resolution
  22. sample Stockbyte<TM> images. The terms of our licence (see licencing folder)
  23. applies to all images on the disc.

  25. Using your images
  26.  
  27. The way desktop publishing applications deal with the high-resolution JPEG files
  28. varies, so we recommend copying the images you need to your hard disk and converting
  29. them to TIFF using an image editing application such as Adobe Photoshop<R>.

  31. The images have been colour corrected for high-resolution output to imagesetters 
  32. and other printing devices.  All images have been optimised for printing on 
  33. four-colour sheet-fed printing presses on art paper or board with industry-standard
  34.  dot gain, using positive film.

  36. How can you use the images on this comping CD?
  37. You may only use the photographic images and data in the following ways
  38.     *    to view the images
  39.     *    to create documents for client approval

  56. images available to their customers, or advertise
  57. the availability of Stockbyte<TM> images, without 
  58. the purchase of a bureau licence from Stockbyte<R>
